Central Service Aide - 2nd shift

Under direct supervision assists Central Service Technicians in the performance of duties related to the assembly and distribution of sterile products and instrumentation to the Operating Rooms and clinics.

**This position will be scheduled (Monday-Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.) and will be located at the Integrated Services Center in Coralville, IA

* Prepare carts and surgical containers for decontamination.

* Inspect, fold and package reusable linen towels, pillowcases and sheets.

* Prepare reusable containers for assembly into instrument trays.

* Wrap surgical trays in disposable tray wrap.

* Transport items to sterilization area.

* Empty cart washer and transport cart to cart storage area.

* Inventory and fill supply modules in the sterile core area.

* Unpack and put away supplies as needed.

* Other tasks as assigned.

Hours limitation: This position is limited to 780 hours per fiscal year. Hours will reset on July 1^st.

Pay rate: $17/hour
