The Plant Administration Manager is responsible for the overall plant administrative functions covering a combination of some or all of the following: office management, employee onboarding, inventory control, billing, and invoice reconciliation. This position may also serve as lead to plant office staff.


  • Performs a variety of office adminstrative functions, such as preparing reports/documentation, processing mail, and filing.
  • Aids in the coordination of plant communications, including presenting information during plant-wide meetings.
  • Performs plant procurement responsibilities.
  • Responsibel for updating and maintaining production training records and plant audit dates.
  • May assist HR Manager with proper documentation for new hires, general questions, and help with onboarding.
  • Provides general administrative support to the plant. May provide lead direction to other staff in the performance of plant administrative responsibilities.
  • On-site PPE Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and lead various safety-related projects to ensure compliance and workplace safety.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with critical vendors to support operational needs.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable (AP) to resolve invoicing discrepanices and ensure timely payments.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new vendors to expand sourcing capabilities.
  • Identify and document cost-savings opportunities across procurement and inventory processes.
  • Communicate regularly with production managers to ensure availability of necessary materials and equipment.
  • Oversee receiving and stocking of inventory items to maintain accurate and organized storage.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and support operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate the retrieval and shipment of repairable parts (e.g., cylinders, motors) for external servicing.
  • Maintain and update the Limble CMMS system, ensuring accurate inventory records and proper linkage of parts to assets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5-7 years of progressive administrative responsibility
  • 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Ability to multi-task, stress management, and time/priority management
  • Attention to detail, work independently, and organizational skills
