About the role Reporting to the Supervisor/Project Manager, the Lead Waste Processing Technician is responsible for carrying out the routine operational and maintenance, environmental, and safety duties as assigned. This position requires an ability to follow instructions consistently and to communicate effectively so that all activities are aligned with the desires of the Operations Manager and Reworld. Responsibilities: * Responsible for receiving, tracking, and material compliance. * Complete Excel worksheets and forms clearly and consistently. * Gather and assist with evaluating samples (as assigned). * Assist and/or manage the offloading and loading waste * Assist and/or manage bulk transfers. * Operation of forklift * Identify and report operating anomalies to the Operations Manager or Maintenance Department. * Uphold highest standards of Employee and Operational Safety-responsible for PPE needs for each job, ensuring all employees are correctly suited. * Direct subordinates in day-to-day operations while adhering to monthly budget and productivity needs. * Accurate and daily data entry into NetSuite for waste tracking, regulatory, and billing purposes. * Daily preventive maintenance and housekeeping of Warehouse and all equipment. * Ensure compliance of all facility operating permits. Requirements: * High School Diploma or GED required. * Previous experience as a lead or supervisor in a waste, recycling, environmental solutions company or related industry * Leadership and team building skills * Must possess good verbal and written communication skills and a professional attitude. * Proficient in MS Office Suite * Ability to comprehend and adhere to company health and safety requirements. * With adequate training after being hired, be able to operate equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, hand truck etc. * Previous experience with front loader a plus * Ability to thrive on hard work and demonstrated pride in the solutions-oriented result Typical shift: Monday to Friday days with occasional Saturdays.
