Description

SSR is seeking a Construction Engineering & Inspection (CE&I) Intern to support our field and office teams during the summer. This internship is ideal for students interested in gaining real-world construction experience, learning about quality assurance practices, and observing how engineering design comes to life in the field.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Gain real-world experience on exciting transportation construction projects
  • Apply standard construction and inspection techniques and procedures
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a CEI professional or Construction Manager
  • Perform other duties as needed


Qualifications:



  • Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Completion of sophomore year or higher by the internship start date.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work outdoors on active construction sites in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
