Job Title: Facilities PMO Specialist

Location: Westminster, CO

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Enterprise PMO Director / Facilities Manager

Job Summary:

The Facilities PMO Specialist will play a critical role in aligning facilities-related projects with the enterprise PMO framework, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional teams including IT Services, Security, Operations, and Technology. This role will support the coordination, tracking, and reporting of facilities projects within the broader enterprise PMO pipeline while fostering collaboration across departments. The Facilities PMO Specialist may also take on light project management responsibilities as bandwidth and business needs dictate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Integration & Alignment: Collaborate with the enterprise PMO to integrate facilities projects into the enterprise project portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and cross-functional dependencies.

- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with IT Services, Security, Operations, and Technology teams to align facilities projects (e.g., space planning, infrastructure upgrades, relocations) with enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring cohesive execution.

- PMO Support: Maintain project documentation, schedules, budgets, and risk registers for facilities projects within the enterprise PMO framework. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.

- Governance & Standards: Implement and adhere to PMO governance, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistency across facilities and enterprise projects.

- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between facilities teams and other departments, facilitating clear communication and managing expectations for project deliverables, timelines, and resource needs.

- Light Project Management: As needed, manage smaller-scale facilities projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder coordination.

- Data & Reporting: Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for facilities projects, providing insights to optimize project delivery and resource utilization.

- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline facilities project workflows and enhance integration with enterprise PMO processes.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, 3 additional years may be substituted for a degree.

- Experience: 3+ years of experience in project coordination, PMO support, or facilities management, with exposure to cross-functional collaboration. Experience working with IT, Security, Operations, or Technology teams is a plus.

- Skills:

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira, or similar).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders.

- Familiarity with facilities management processes (e.g., space planning, building maintenance, or construction).

- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, security systems, or operational workflows is preferred.

- Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or Facilities Management certifications (e.g., CFM, FMP) are a plus but not required.

- Other: Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.

- Must be US citizen.

- Ability to obtain a government clearance.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to occasionally visit and assess facility sites, which may involve walking, standing, or light lifting.

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

* The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $74,000.00 - $124,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
