Job Description: Microchip's Data Center Solutions Business Unit (DCS) offers industry leading performance, reliability, and security for Storage Controllers, PCIe Switches, NVME Controllers and smart attached memory. As an Associate Fellow- SoC design, you will provide micro-architecture leadership in the highly successful Enterprise Flash Controller product line. These complex 300M gate+ integrated silicon devices enable top tier data centers and OEMs in next generation storage, data protection, and accelerator market segments. As an Associate Fellow in the Microchip Data Center Solutions group, you will be working closely with the architecture team to develop the micro-architecture for programmable Flash sub-system. Throughout you will work beside experienced engineers and be exposed to Microchip's Best-In-Class engineering practices. Working side-by-side with some of the brightest minds and most innovative people in the industry, you will be given an opportunity to work in a team where your contributions matter. The candidate must have a background in SoC design pertains to Enterprise Flash Controllers, switching and memory attachment and who can work closely with internal and external customers and the engineering teams to support the the current generation as well as next generation Enterprise Flash Controller products. The candidate must be able to thrive in high pressure situations, possess strong debug skills, and be able to drive engineering teams to take the right actions, know when to escalate and seek guidance and have a passion for investigative problem solving.
