Senior MULTIMEDIA SPECIALIST

Location: Washington, DC | Type: Full-Time | Clearance: TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph
Note: This position is part of an active proposal effort and is contingent upon contract award.

Overview

DarkStar Intelligence is hiring a senior Multimedia Specialist to build high-impact eLearning and media that enable mission-ready performance. You will design interactive training, animations, and assessments; package content for LMS delivery; and ensure Section 508 compliance. Work is primarily on-site/SCIF; U.S. citizenship is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate learning objectives into storyboards, media specifications, and interactive eLearning.
  • Develop content using Lectora, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud, and HTML5/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Produce/optimize audio, video, motion graphics, and animations; ensure Section 508 compliance.
  • Package, publish, and troubleshoot SCORM/xAPI content in LMS/LRS environments; perform QA and defect resolution.
  • Maintain version control, media libraries, and documentation; collaborate closely with ISDs and SMEs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph.
  • 10+ years as a Multimedia/eLearning Developer or closely related role.
  • Expertise with Lectora, Articulate 360, Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud, and HTML5/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Proven experience packaging SCORM 1.2/2004 (and/or xAPI) and ensuring Section 508 compliance.
  • Strong QA discipline, file management, and stakeholder communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
  • Motion graphics (After Effects), rapid prototyping, and performance analytics experience.
  • Git/SharePoint asset workflows; media compression and accessibility best practices.
  • Background supporting federal law enforcement or IC training programs.

Additional Details

Travel: Minimal; as required.
Work Environment: On-site / SCIF. Limited telework may be authorized by the customer; direct operational support via telework is not permitted unless a government-issued laptop is provided.
