JOB SUMMARY

Identifies business processes in need of continuous improvement. Utilizes multiple methods for improvement including technology to create business efficiencies that are documented, and repeatable throughout the organization. Lead projects to define, measure and improve processes in line with business goals, and driving efficiencies in systems and processes. Projects are usually accomplished with cross-functional participation with other internal organization teams (Supply chain, Customer Service, Operations, Marketing). Applies strong problem solving and decision-making skills as well as technical knowledge, and communication skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Through strong, positive leadership, the Director of Process Improvement ensures the profitability of operations through effective review, measurement, design and improvement of Microbac's core processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Identifies current process inefficiencies and reviews all related information and processes to develop and evaluate options to implement solutions to reduce and eliminate waste and inefficiencies in scoped areas of the business.
  • Review and assess cost and benefits of current and future solutions.
  • Facilitates and leads cross-functional process improvement teams to deliver impactful results. Participates in the development of policies, procedures, and other documentation to support process improvements.
  • Develops effective control plans, working with process owners, to ensure improvement gains are sustained on a long-term basis.
  • Leverages best practices and shares within the team and across all businesses.
  • Identifies opportunities to utilize innovative technologies to advance process performance.
  • Collaborates with IT to facilitate the rollout of large-scale technology platforms.
  • Serves as a change agent, systematically driving continuous improvement and change throughout the business.
  • Leads and coaches the organization's stakeholders through the use of continuous improvement tools to maximize process performance, and standardization efforts.
  • Builds strong relationships with stakeholder groups throughout the organization through direct interactions to keep apprised of project status and defined deliverables.
  • Provides support and consultation; interpret data and communicate the capabilities to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Promotes a cohesive, collaborative team approach to daily operations.
  • Ensures that requests and concerns are addressed in an appropriate and timely manner.

MINIMUM QUALIICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 7-10 years of experience leading process improvement initiatives
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to conduct analysis and read, interpret, and report data.
  • Ability to respond effectively (written and verbal) to sensitive or highly technical inquiries
  • Ability to use positive techniques to motivate others, gain buy in, and manage through change

Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be in a general office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • This job may require travel less than 10%
