Position Overview

Dunwoody College is seeking a versatile, imaginative, and detaildriven Multimedia Designer with a strong foundation in motion graphics and a passion for producing worldclass educational media. Position Responsibilities/Functions:

Motion Graphics



  • Produce shortform educational videos (10-15 minutes) from prescripted materials
  • Design and animate 2D motion graphics that simplify complex concepts and reinforce key vocabulary
  • Align visual storytelling choices with defined instructional goals and learning outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with Instructional Designer and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure clarity, pacing, and pedagogical impact


Video Production & Editing



  • Lead fullcycle production of onlocation video content, including scripting, directing, filming, and editing
  • Capture immersive, authentic footage-from 360 walkthroughs to SME interviews and realworld demonstrations
  • Integrate liveaction assets into interactive and scenariobased course ecosystems
  • Manage creative direction and logistics for field shoots, ensuring alignment with instructional intent and visual quality standards

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator) or equivalent tools
  • Strong skills in 2D motion graphics, animation, and video editing
  • Experience with full-cycle video production: scripting, filming, directing, and editing
  • Ability to integrate live-action and animated elements into cohesive educational content
  • Strong visual storytelling skills with an eye for clarity and pacing
  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts
  • Portfolio showcasing professional-quality work across video and motion graphics
