The opportunity:

We are growing our Sports Marketing partnerships and investments with the goal of reaching new audiences and raising our brand relevance. The ideal candidate will adeptly navigate both marketing and business challenges to work towards our goals. Sports Marketing is essential for brand visibility, customer engagement, and business growth.

Role overview:

This exhilarating position provides you with the opportunity to establish, organize, and implement a fresh major partnership with the NFL. Your duties will encompass supervising every aspect of bringing this essential collaboration to life, ensuring its triumph through thorough planning and flawless execution. Working alongside a cross-functional team, you will align programs with our overall marketing and branding targets. The role involves spearheading the implementation of the NFL plan in cooperation with Business Units (DME, DX) and functional teams within the Global Marketing organization (Creative Studio, Brand Strategy, Brand Marketing, Social, Paid Media, Research, Communications) nationally and internationally.

Additional responsibilities include supporting the Head of Sports Marketing and the Growth Media team in developing the sports media strategy and owning the execution of paid media. This role will also direct key agency partners to deliver on strategy and program management.

This position is a blend of strategy, day-to-day partner management, understanding consumer insights, and creative planning to drive our brand's growth objectives. Success in this role is directly tied to the growth in awareness, consideration, relevance for our Adobe brand and core businesses, and product activation/adoption.

What you'll Do:
  • Composes the marketing strategy against priority customer groups, fan journeys, marketing mix, investment recommendations, NFL Fund management, and full-year activation plan to achieve Brand Marketing goals.
  • Drive NFL tentpole and season planning from strategic business partnership to a fully mapped-out, cross-functional marketing calendar.
  • Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Sports & Innovation team on crafting the Enterprise NFL plan, passionate about NFL customer storytelling and engagement, and with the priority DME Product and Brand Management teams to motivate NFL activation adoption, fan activation/product, and demand creation plans.
  • Collaborate with the Growth Marketing & Insights team to develop annual paid media plans for both contractual and incremental sports-specific media.
  • Coordinate across all marketing functions ensure seamless, diligent planning and execution of partnership activations.
  • Drive marketing innovation and creativity, encouraging collaboration across multiple teams, partners, and peers.
  • Partner with internal collaborators (across marketing, business, and sales organizations) and external agencies to strategize and implement brand initiatives.
  • Develop positive relationships across the business and be recognized as a trusted advisor and go-to authority.
  • Quantify the impact of programs using data and insights to inform planning, develop a measurement framework, and optimize campaigns for awareness, engagement, product adoption, and business impact.
  • Present plans and outcomes to executives with clarity, confidence, and strategic insight.
What success looks like:
  • Significant sports marketing experience across multiple properties, with NFL experience and a commitment to improve mandatory.
  • Proven experience managing sports partnerships that span multiple markets and require global coordination.
  • Strong background in fan engagement programs across social, digital, and live experiences.
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to learn and collaborate with sports leagues and teams to deliver creative marketing campaigns across traditional and emerging media.
  • Operational excellence with strong attention to detail, combined with a data-driven approach to planning and analytical performance measurement.
  • Ability to influence teams directly and indirectly, balancing creative inspiration with analytical thinking.
  • Demonstrated success working in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Team-oriented, innovative, and genuine-someone who complements and improves our culture.

  • Experience working with or at agencies (sports marketing, advertising, digital, or brand) is a plus.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $131,600 -- $250,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
