About the Role
Craft the future of data analytics at Adobe! As a Software Engineer on our Adobe Analytics team in Lehi, you'll build scalable Java systems. This is a hands-on role for engineers passionate about using modern tools to power critical infrastructure for global enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize Java/Spark pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and storage using Delta Lake, Parquet, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Integrate and maintain data pipelines with MongoDB (NoSQL) and MariaDB (SQL) to support analytics workflows.
- Debug, refactor, and scale systems in production environments, focusing on performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
- Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation workflows.
- Implement standard methodologies for CI/CD, testing, and cloud-native architecture in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of professional experience in software development (recent graduates with strong projects welcome).
- Proficiency in Java (or Scala/Python) and experience building distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with big data tools: Spark, cloud data services, or ETL frameworks.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MariaDB, MongoDB) or data storage formats (Parquet, ORC).
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools to improve development efficiency.
- Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or academic projects involving large-scale data processing (Spark, Kafka, Flink).
- Exposure to Delta Lake, Airflow, or Kubernetes for data orchestration.
- Interest in data governance, performance optimization, or real-time analytics.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $93,200 -- $170,600 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
