Sr. Control Validation Security Specialist

Amyx is seeking to hire a Control Validation Security Specialist - Senior to support our DLA Cybersecurity CPOSS-OT contract remotely. Ideal candidate will be independent while being a team player, analytical with the ability to use common sense, and have DoD RMF Security Control validation expertise utilizing eMASS, broad understanding of Federal and DoD cybersecurity standards, policies and guidelines, and knowledge of different types of Information Technology (IT) / Operational Technology (OT) systems, applications and enclaves.

Candidate will:

Utilize expert knowledge and experience regarding validating Risk Management Framework security controls including what is required as evidence of implementation and compliance while weighing business needs against security concerns and be able to analyze applied mitigations to evaluate whether they meet security requirements.

• Collaborate with DLA SCA and the CPOSS - OT Lead to develop OT system specific metrics, templates, and validation processes and procedures.
• Author and present briefs regarding status of authorizations to AO and other senior Government officials.
• Develop meeting minutes and executive summaries following meetings with senior officials.
• Provide independent risk analysis and recommendation on the risk as well as the authorization.
• Provide technical support in the areas of vulnerability assessment, risk assessment, network security, and security implementation.
• Provide technical evaluations of customer systems and make recommendation for security improvements.
• Must have the ability to communicate accurate information

Requried experience/qualifications

• DoD 8570.01 IAM Level III Certification (CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO)
• eMASS experience
• experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• DoD Secret Clearance
• 3+ years Risk Management Framework
  

Desired:

• Operational Technology and Facility Related Control System (FRCS) understanding
• Validator and/or Security Control Assessor experience
• ISA/IEC 62443 and UCF 4-10-06 knowledge
• Policy and Procedure development
