Mustang Cat, the authorized Caterpillar dealer for Southeast Texas, is seeking a skilled Territory Sales Manager to oversee and grow our Houston-area Parts branch locations and distribution channels. This leadership role is critical to ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence across multiple branches.

Key Responsibilities
Branch Oversight & Operations
- Manage day-to-day operations by traveling to Houston-area Parts branches to ensure efficiency, profitability, and team success.
- Hire, supervise, and support staff while maintaining proper staffing levels.
- Organize team meetings, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a culture of development.
- Oversee inventory processes, ensuring stock accuracy, order handling, and warehouse organization.
- Monitor and improve Caterpillar parts sales performance while supporting CAT Financial and eCommerce initiatives.
- Promote collaboration between Parts, Service, and Rental divisions.
Customer Experience
- Uphold high service standards and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Ensure clear communication of parts policies and processes internally and externally.
- Collaborate with branch management and sales teams to implement sales campaigns and marketing initiatives.
Reporting & Analysis
- Analyze and report on branch financials, inventory accuracy, parts performance metrics, and customer feedback.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and collaborate with stakeholders on execution.
Safety & Compliance
- Lead safety initiatives, ensuring all facilities meet safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards.
- Conduct safety meetings and escalate issues as necessary.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or technical field preferred (experience considered in lieu of degree).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in parts, sales, or operations roles.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business software tools.
- Strong customer service orientation with ability to build relationships at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Familiarity with Caterpillar parts operations or dealership processes
This position is based in Houston, TX, covering Mustang Cat's Parts branch network across the region. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will play a vital role in strengthening customer relationships, leading branch teams, and growing Caterpillar parts sales.
