QA Coordinator PM/NO $

SUMMARY
Reporting to the Associate Manger of Quality Assurance. This position schedule is primarily Monday - Friday, but it may be required to rotate shifts or work flexible hours as needed to fill vacancies, support projects or further personal development. This position will conduct routine tasks as well as support various responsibilities within the Quality Assurance Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Daily QA factory audit and process verification
* Issuing Corrective Actions and work orders based on audit findings along with following up on closure.
* First point of contact to respond to all Food Safety and Quality incidents on shifts
* Track and process finished product holds and dispositions using SAP warehouse inventory management system.
* Process vendor non-conformances in SAP
* Assist with analytical testing..
* Analytical Instruments and Equipment verification, maintenance & calibration
* Verification of records (FS Process Controls, Quality Control Points, ext.)
* Reviewing, filing and managing quality records and addressing deviations.
* Maintain electronic quality data, support in trending and analyzing data.
* Product evaluation setup and lead product evaluation for shift.
* Support quality and food safety training
* Other duties as assigned to support all QA Dept. roles in managing Food Safety and Quality systems

EDUCATION and/ or EXPERIENCE
* HS Diploma or Equivalent is required
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, or related field, is preferred
* 1-3 years previous manufacturing, quality or food safety experience is preferred
* Strong interpersonal skills are required.
* Must have knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
