Job Purpose:

The Program Manager will be a dedicated position that combines all aspects of program management from customer interface to operational management at a detail level. This person will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing Viking Enterprise Solutions distribution channels for our enterprise class products and ensuring its overall success.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:



  • The program manager will track dependencies, identify and mitigate risks and issues, and communicate progress to stakeholders and executives. Will have direct communication with customers, manufacturing facilities and development organizations.
  • Be responsible for continuous improvement of all operations and processes within the order execution process. Ensuring that the varying customer requirements are met.
  • Be part of the team that develops the process and documentation for efficiently qualifying business/channel partner opportunities.
  • Analyze and report actual performance vs forecasted performance such as OTD, Inventory turns, PPV and profitability.
  • Program manage order from receipt through fulfillment coordinating the cross functional team activities
  • Block and tackle obstacle any issues impacting meeting customer commitment in a timely manner
  • Be a customer advocate inside the organization to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and report progress on various projects while providing updates to stakeholders
  • Document and improve processes using Six Sigma or similar processes.


Education and Experience:



  • Qualifications may include relevant education (such as a Bachelor's or University Degree in Business, MBA, Marketing, Engineering, or Computer Science).
  • 8 plus years of experience managing advanced enterprise data center products and solutions.
  • Proven track record in working with customers and internal cross functional teams.
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation and organizing skills.
  • Working knowledge of oracle or equivalent ERP system.
  • Intermediate level skills with MS Office products
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.

Salary range (annual): $125,000 - $140,000

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
