How you'll make an impact:

We're looking for a Senior Director, Marketing Campaign Development to lead the orchestration, and deployment of cross-channel campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and retention. You will oversee a team of campaign developers responsible for executing personalized marketing programs across Email, SMS, Push Notifications, Direct Mail, In-App Messaging, and more.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep experience managing high-volume campaigns, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and a passion for operational excellence. You'll partner closely with Marketing Strategy, Channel Marketing, Creative, Data, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure campaigns are timely, relevant, and effective across the customer lifecycle.

What you'll do:

Campaign Development & Execution

  • Oversee end-to-end development and execution of lifecycle and promotional campaigns across direct response channels (Email, SMS, Push, In-App, Direct Mail, In-Car Messaging, and Outbound Telemarketing).

  • Lead a team of campaign managers to build, QA, and launch personalized marketing communications.

  • Partner with marketing leads and Channel Marketing teams to translate strategic objectives into actionable campaign plans.

  • Ensure consistent messaging, targeting logic, and experience across all touchpoints.

MarTech

  • Oversee the day-to-day execution and performance of the marketing technology ecosystem to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently and accurately.

  • Manage relationships with MarTech vendors and partners, holding them accountable to SLAs, driving roadmap alignment, and ensuring cost-effective delivery.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and implement enhancements that improve speed to market and data integrity.Governance, Privacy & Compliance

  • Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, CPRA/CCPA, FDCPA, and other global standards.

  • Maintain and evolve policies, audits, and risk frameworks to protect customer data and ensure trust.

  • Partner with Legal and Privacy to implement scalable solutions for campaign auditing, consent management, and consumer preferences.

Orchestration & Optimization

  • Implement best practices for omni-channel campaign orchestration and cadence management.

  • Develop testing frameworks and monitor performance metrics to optimize delivery, engagement, and conversion.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and triggered campaign enhancements based on user behavior and journey stages.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to transition campaigns from batch-driven to real-time behavioral triggers.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Work cross-functionally with Legal, Data, Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience to streamline campaign processes and ensure compliance.

  • Establish SLAs and QA processes to support consistent, error-free execution.

  • Continuously improve campaign operations by identifying bottlenecks, gaps, and process improvement opportunities.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Clearly and confidently communicate complex ideas to cross-functional stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership.

  • Translate marketing and operational needs into actionable plans that align teams and drive execution.

  • Foster transparency and alignment through regular updates, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.

Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of campaign marketers

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, curiosity, accountability, and excellence.

  • Define KPIs, monitor performance, and provide coaching to support development and retention.

Platform Migration Leadership

  • Continue to execute a multi-phase migration plan, including platform architecture, data migration, campaign transition, testing, and team enablement.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure business continuity during migration while enhancing long-term scalability.

  • Lead change management efforts, including internal communications, training, and documentation to support operational readiness.

  • Ensure seamless transition of campaign logic, automation flows, segmentation strategies, and compliance mechanisms from Adobe to SFMC.

What you'll need:

  • 12+ years of experience in direct marketing, campaign operations, or CRM execution, ideally in a subscription or digital media environment.

  • 6+ years of experience managing a team.

  • Deep hands-on knowledge of cross-channel marketing (Email, SMS, Push, Direct Mail, In-App) and campaign orchestration best practices.
    Experience working with marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, or Braze.

  • Familiarity with lifecycle marketing strategies and personalized campaign development.
    Understanding of marketing compliance and privacy frameworks (e.g., CAN-SPAM, TCPA, CCPA/CPRA).

  • Proven success managing and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and a test-and-learn mindset to drive ongoing optimization.
    Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $172,218 to $203,125 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
