We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to join our group and help in our goal to achieve a world class Maintenance and Facilities organization. This role will be within the Maintenance department within Endress+Hauser Flow, USA.

What is the role about?
Are you someone who enjoys solving difficult facilities problems? Have you spent endless hours wondering how to improve how something is done? The Facilities Engineer position will report to the Maintenance Manager of E+H Flow USA and become part of our maintenance and facilities department to lead planning of long-term goals and improvements.

Which tasks will you perform?
You will:

  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Work includes performing repairs individually as well as working with contractors to complete repairs
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage facility improvement projects
  • Contractor Management: Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for maintenance and repair services related to facilities
  • Energy Management: Monitor and optimize energy usage within the facility. Implement energy-saving initiatives and track their effectiveness
  • Strategy Development: Develop a 3-5 year strategy for building maintenance to ensure items are planned and budgeted for appropriately

What do we expect from you?
You:

  • 5+ years of maintenance/facilities experience
  • 5+ years of HVAC and Building Automation Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Facilities management, Engineering or related field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work alone and with team members
  • Strong building controls knowledge
  • Strong troubleshooting skill set as related to building equipment including compressors, HVAC, generators, lighting systems
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time
