Daikin Applied is now hiring for a Learning Technology & Operations Specialist Intern in Plymouth, MN!

Daikin Applied is a global leader in providing innovative HVAC solutions for commercial and industrial applications. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Learning Technology & Operations Specialist Intern to join our dynamic HR & Learning Systems team. The HR and Learning Technology Specialist Intern plays a critical role in advising on the deployment of learning technologies and managing their operational implementation to enhance training programs in sales, service, leadership, and individual development. The position focuses on leveraging technology to modernize teaching methods and create engaging learning experiences while supporting HR-related technology initiatives.

Location: Plymouth, MN in office 3 days per week

Timeline: This Internship opportunity is for May-August 2026

What you will do:



  • Experience what it is like to work in a corporate environment and leverage technology to deploy learning solutions
  • Implement Learning Management System (LMS) solutions in support of evolving business and operational needs
  • Support internal and external customers with training and LMS questions or technical issues
  • Assist with data and analytics by running reports from various learning technology resources, answering questions, and compiling data for monthly scorecards.
  • Advance the team's automated processes and work flows


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Business, Education, Learning, or Human Resources
  • Experience coordinating projects and managing project team activities
  • Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Plymouth, MN office


The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $23/hr - $26/hr in Plymouth, MN. This represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
