Overview Ready to shape the future of science and global health? ATCC, a leading nonprofit biological resources and standards organization, is seeking an Associate Biologist to work onsite in Manassas, VA, with experience in basic molecular biology techniques, including PCR, DNA Extraction, DNA Purification, DNA Quantitation, Gel Electrophoresis, and common sequence analysis tools such as NCBI BLAST. Preference given for candidates with additional experience in the areas of GxP, advanced PCR (qPCR, ddPCR), NGS, and LIMS. Lab documentation and GXP experience preferred. We're looking for an entry-level Associate Biologist to manufacture biological materials and standards. You'll work under guidance to support production of biological cultures and derivative products, as well as contribute to data collection and recording. Manufacturing Operations: Manufacturing or quality control (QC) testing of biological products by following standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and other controlled documents. Maintain laboratory safety, operations, equipment, and supplies.
Qualifications
Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program. We Invest in You
