Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Workforce Development Specialist to work on our National Security Workforce Development Programs team. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Research Education Campus (REC) in Idaho Falls, ID with every other Friday off. The National and Homeland Security Directorate seeks a team member to optimize and highlight strategic workforce development efforts, coordinate university engagements, and establish metrics to inform strategic decisions. This role involves managing relationships across the directorate and laboratory, interfacing with Talent Acquisition, Communications, Research Excellence, and other stakeholders. The position emphasizes the development of both internal and externally funded workforce programs and contributes to mission initiatives across the directorate. Additionally, this role may support sponsor-funded workforce development portfolios. Responsibilities Include:

Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this classification, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, and work in an office environment.
