Overview
Training and Communications Design Coordinator
We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Training and Communications Specialist to support the rollout of a new procurement tool. This is a temporary, coordinator-level position, but we're open to candidates with more experience if they're willing to work within our set budget. The ideal candidate will have a 50/50 mix of project management and training design skills, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Training & Instructional Design:
- Collaborate on the development and design of training materials, focusing on updating quick reference guides (QRGs), FAQs, and decks.
- Break down complex video training into key, digestible steps for end users.
- Revamp existing training materials in various formats like Word and Adobe to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
- Build out initial training frameworks and content that can be finalized by the project lead.
Project Management & Coordination:
- Serve as a second pair of hands for the project lead, handling meeting coordination and scheduling across multiple teams (including sourcing, legal, and merchandising).
- Draft initial project communications, including biweekly updates and next steps.
- Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables stay on track.
- Provide change management support by communicating updates and managing stakeholder expectations.
Qualifications
- Experience in project management and training design is a must.
- Prior experience with procurement systems like ZIP, Ironclad, or Coupa is highly preferred, as it will significantly reduce onboarding time.
- Excellent written communication skills with experience drafting internal communications.
- The ability to work with a hybrid skill set and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A background in change management is a plus.
- Must be willing to work PST hours.
This role requires someone who is not afraid to jump in and do the "back-end" work, helping us scale our training and ensure our teams are prepared for the new tool. If you have the right mix of skills and a proactive attitude, we'd love to hear from you. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $33.44 to $37.16 an hour.
