A Brief Overview
Responsible for oversight of the daily operations and supervision of warehouse personnel providing home care services for Home Infusion, Home Health and Home Medical & Respiratory equipment for Home Care patient services. Collaborates with the Home Care Leadership to ensure that warehouse operations and patient care services are in accordance with all CHHC/CHOP policy and procedures and all regulatory and accrediting body agency guidelines. Responsible for ensuring safe and efficacious services that allows for the ideal patient experience.

What you will do

  • Responsible for the direct and qualified supervision of warehouse personnel providing services for Home Care patients receiving Home Infusion, Home Health & Home Medical Equipment & Respiratory Services
  • Determines educational opportunities, provides education, oversees implementation of required changes and monitors staff for compliance
  • Collaborates with the Clinical Managers of Home Care to ensure the ideal patient and employee experience.
  • Assures that the coordination of services by the interdisciplinary team promotes and provides safe, efficacious, high quality, appropriate, timely and cost effective care and services.
  • Responsible for the oversight of warehouse operations and equipment management services are in accordance with CHHC/CHOP policy and all accrediting and regulatory guidelines
  • Responsible for oversight of the procurement and inventory of equipment and supplies and to ensure that Home Care is able to provide safe, timely patient care
  • Ensures that supervisory visits of warehouse personnel are completed in accordance with policy.
  • Ability to fill the role of warehouse personnel as required
  • Monitors and assures that all documentation is in compliance with Joint Commission, Medicare CMS, CHHC/CHOP policy and procedure and all regulatory and accrediting agency guidelines
  • Collaborates with Leadership to enhance patient safety and patient care
  • Collaborates with Leadership to enhance professional development of staff
  • Collaborates with Home Care Leadership on the attainment of the annual operating plan for the Home Care Department

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Science related field - Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years experience in home care in a managerial position and/or lead operations role. - Required
  • At least five (5) years experience in acute, sub-acute or home care facility Preferred
  • Pediatric experience - Preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to operate a company vehicle and/or be insured on a CHOP policy
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Strong working knowledge of project management methodology
  • Emphasizes team goals with a common purpose and seeks win-win solutions. Takes ownership for projects programs and services, and accepts accountability for results.
  • Action oriented with collaborative style
  • Strong sense of ethics consistent with those of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
  • Very knowledgeable of accrediting body and regulatory guidelines

Licenses and Certifications

  • Driver's License - Department of Motor Vehicles - upon hire - Required

SALARY RANGE:

$98,820.00 - $126,000.00 Annually

Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
