Job Summary:

The Department of Radiation Oncology of the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a full-time radiation oncologist to work within the University of Colorado Health System, with the primary sites of practice at Anschutz Medical Campus, in Aurora, Colorado, and the Highlands Ranch Hospital, in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

The Anschutz Medical Campus is the academic hub of UC Health, a large healthcare system that incorporates hundreds of individual outpatient clinics throughout the state of Colorado. This position will involve seeing and managing patients with a variety of cancer types and selected non-malignant disorders. In addition to coverage at the sites noted above, depending on clinical need, there could be an expectation of cross coverage at other locations within the greater Denver Metro region.

This position requires the completion of an accredited residency in radiation oncology. Applicants must be able to obtain licensure for the practice of medicine within the State of Colorado, prescriptive authority for medications, and privileges at our participating hospitals.

The selected applicant is expected to evaluate and manage patients with cancer and certain benign conditions with participation in departmental peer review processes, multidisciplinary tumor boards, and clinics.

Work Location:

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Highlands Ranch and Denver, Colorado.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

* Successful completion of an ACGME accredited radiation oncology residency

* ABR board eligibility or certification in Radiation Oncology

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of the Epic and Aria medical record systems and Eclipse treatment planning

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$325,000 to $400,000

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
