- This is a full-time, 10-week program designed to give you real-world experience working within the telecommunications industry in your field of choice.
- Internship program runs from May 27 through July 31, 2026.
- In addition to the role-based projects you'll work on, you'll also participate in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and have access to a mentor.
The Spectrum Internship Experience You'll join one of our departments for the summer, where you'll contribute to meaningful projects that give you insight into what it's like to work at a leading connectivity company. You'll have access to:

What you can expect in this role As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams - your respective department and your intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 27th, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects, and final presentations. Internship responsibilities may include
- Conduct research and analysis on timely technology policy issues, including wireless spectrum auctions and other regulatory proceedings that impact Charter
- Assist with valuation and prioritization of wireless spectrum opportunities to advance Charter's position in the marketplace
- Contribute to ideation and thought leadership on technical and non-technical research and advocacy that supports Charter's long-term business objectives
- Support the construction of tool(s) that enable tracking of key strategic datapoints in Charter's evolving converged wireline / wireless network
- Prepare internal presentation materials and briefing documents for executive-level meetings
- Provide summaries of relevant government proceedings
Required qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University graduating with a bachelor's degree between December 2026 - May 2027
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
- Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
Preferred qualifications
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Interest in communications policy and regulation
- wireless spectrum, and/or emerging technologies
- Proficiency with Excel and Powerpoint
- Familiarity with wireless, wireline, and/or emerging networking technologies
- Understanding of telecom market dynamics
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to manage ambiguity, learn quickly, and synthesize complex information

The base pay for this position generally is between
$27.50 and $29.50. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
