We are seeking a Design Engineering Intern to join our team for Summer 2026 with an electrical engineering background to assist in the development, testing, and support of electronic hardware projects.
Responsibilities
As a Design Engineering Intern, you will be:


  • Assisting in schematic design, circuit simulation, and PCB layout for new products
  • Supporting the creation and modification of BOMs (Bill of Materials)
  • Testing and debugging prototypes using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.)
  • Assisting with component selection and library management in EDA tools (Altium, KiCad, etc.)
  • Collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturability) compliance
  • Creating and updating design documentation, including assembly drawings, test procedures, and technical specs
  • Supporting engineering change orders (ECOs) and revision control processes
  • Assisting with mechanical fixture design, assembly and validation



Qualifications


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout software (Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or similar)
  • Understanding of electronics fundamentals including analog and digital circuit design
  • Experience with lab equipment and hands-on prototyping
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for electronics and eagerness to learn in a practical, team-based setting
