MARKETING MANAGER

ON-SITE 4 DAYS A WEEK, WESTERN SUBURBS- WFH 1 DAY A WEEK, WITH NO DEVIATION

Are you a food and beverage trend watcher with an eye for marketing? Our B2B global client has an exciting opportunity to join their growing marketing team! The ideal candidate is resourceful, creative and energetic with the ability to think innovatively in developing content for customer trend presentations and marketing collateral. This role will also oversee a Marketing Specialist, so management experience is a plus!

BREAKDOWN OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Market Research



  • Conduct market research by following latest news from industry organizations, market research reports, news, social media, webinars, and press
  • Strategize and develop trend content to direct online traffic to the website and social media pages, generating engagement and new leads
  • Perform primary and secondary market research on product and consumer trends for client proposals, innovation sessions, and conference presentations
  • Utilize insights to contribute to product sessions for new product concepts


Presentations



  • Develop and present presentations on market trends
  • Work with R&D and sales teams to create presentations to showcase new product concepts
  • Present clients with possibilities in new product development to maximize their current product portfolios
  • Host virtual presentations


Writing



  • Write, edit, and distribute content for B2B industry professionals
  • Create and develop marketing materials on the company
  • Develop collateral for tradeshows and customer presentations
  • Written content will include blog posts, press releases, and editorials for industry media


Marketing Initiatives



  • Manage tasks and deadlines related to product launches
  • Schedule and conduct launch meeting to the Sales Team
  • Schedule meetings and manage marketing projects and initiatives as needed via the proper channels (Wrike, Microsoft Teams)
  • Help brainstorm and manage event planning
  • Support various marketing initiatives through branding, promotion, content writing, internal trainings, press and other approved channels
  • Project manage the tasks and deadlines


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising or related field
  • 5 + years' experience working in a Marketing Specialist or Marketing Manager role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable with public speaking-this position will be presenting directly to clients
  • Interest and enthusiasm to work in the food and beverage industry
  • Any graphic design experience / skills are a plus
