UX Writer/Consultant

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior UX Writer - Digital Content Strategist for a 3 month contract role with our client in Eden Prairie, MN. This role is 100% remote

Summary:

We are seeking a Senior UX Writer with a strong background in content strategy, digital marketing, and UX writing to shape how users experience and engage with our digital platforms. This role blends creative writing, strategic thinking, and collaboration across multiple teams to deliver content that is clear, concise, and designed to drive engagement, conversions, and member satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Craft engaging content: Write and edit digital copy ranging from long-form articles to microcopy, ensuring clarity, usability, and alignment with brand voice.
• Support UX design: Partner with designers to create intuitive content flows that guide users through our site and enhance their experience.
• Optimize for performance: Write content to improve SEO performance, close content gaps, and increase organic traffic.
• Enable personalization & testing: Collaborate on A/B tests, personalization strategies, and optimization initiatives to continuously improve content performance.
• Drive business impact: Partner with business leads to develop content that supports key initiatives, campaigns, and enterprise-wide e-commerce goals.
• Ensure consistency: Apply brand tone, style, and voice across all digital touchpoints, from shopping experiences to educational content.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute content design strategies across the website and member portals.
• Consult stakeholders on UX writing best practices and content approaches that support acquisition, engagement, and retention goals.
• Analyze content performance and leverage insights to recommend improvements and test opportunities.
• Collaborate with SEO, brand, and marketing teams to align on priorities and deliver content that meets business and audience needs.
• Contribute to content audits, wireframes, style guides, and other deliverables that shape the content experience.
• Ensure content complies with review processes, including clinical and legal approvals where required.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field + 3 years of related Digital Marketing Experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years in Digital Marketing experience
• 3+ years of UX writing experience in a large, matrixed organization - healthcare industry experience a plus.
• Proven expertise in digital marketing, website/e-commerce platforms, and content strategy.
• Strong track record of managing multiple priorities, supporting cross-functional goals, and driving measurable results.
• Experience in content testing, personalization, and optimization strategies.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable content strategies.

Compensation:

Hourly W2 pay: $60.00 to $68.00/hour

We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
