POSITION SUMMARY:

The People Business Partner is a strategic advisor and collaborator who works closely with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational goals. This role is designed to enable the business, not just provide traditional HR support, by proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen performance, develop talent, and enhance the employee experience. The People Business Partner builds trusted relationships across the organization, translating business priorities into tailored talent solutions, and leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making. By balancing strategic foresight with practical execution, this role ensures that people initiatives directly contribute to business growth while fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  1. Partners closely with the Vice President of Human Resources, Talent Team, and Business Leaders to develop and implement a robust talent strategy aligned with organizational objectives
  2. Builds strong relationships across the organization and serves as a trusted advisor to leaders, offering insights and recommendations on HR-related issues.
  3. Facilitates and supports the company's performance management process, ensuring leaders have the tools, resources, and guidance to deliver effective reviews, feedback, and development conversations
  4. Serves as a strategic partner to managers, making data-driven recommendations and leveraging coaching skills to enhance performance, engagement, and retention.
  5. Develops and drives HR initiatives and strategies that impact the whole organization, including talent processes, DEI, and onboarding.
  6. Identifies organizational training and development needs, collaborates with stakeholders to secure learning opportunities, and facilitates leadership classes and development workshops to build a strong leadership pipeline.
  7. Adapts quickly to changing business needs and priorities, adjusting HR strategies and tactics accordingly
  8. Leads workforce planning and talent forecasting efforts to ensure the organization has the right people in the right roles to achieve business objectives.
  9. Partners with leadership on salary reviews, promotions, bonus recommendations, and recognition strategies.
  10. Monitors employee feedback and satisfaction levels, implementing strategies to continuously improve the employee experience and foster a culture of inclusion and belonging


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven experience as a People/HR Business Partner or demonstrated success in partnering with the business to align people strategies with organizational goals
  • 2+ years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to deeply understand organizational objectives and translate them into actionable people initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in performance management, talent planning, leadership development, and change management
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data and metrics to drive insights and recommendations
  • Knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and best practices
  • Comfortable presenting to groups of all sizes, with strong facilitation and public speaking skills.
