About the Role:

Medallia is seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to lead analytics, reporting, and performance measurement for the global marketing organization. This role will be responsible for turning data into insights that drive smarter decisions, stronger alignment with Sales and GTM, and clear visibility into how marketing drives pipeline and revenue.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on; able to build dashboards, define metrics, and partner with senior leaders to improve performance. You'll play a critical role in helping marketing operate with precision, agility, and accountability.

Responsibilities

Analytics & Reporting

  • Own the marketing analytics framework and reporting, from attribution through to pipeline and revenue contribution.
  • Develop and maintain executive-ready dashboards and scorecards (Salesforce, Tableau, etc.).
  • Establish reporting approaches for campaigns, ABM efforts, SDR, and other sales and marketing programs.

Performance Measurement

  • Partner across the marketing organization (demand generation, field marketing, and content/social to track performance of key activities.
  • Provide regular, consultative insights to Marketing leadership on what's working, what's not, and where to optimize.
  • Drive closed-loop reporting to ensure full visibility from lead to opportunity to revenue.

Data Infrastructure & Process

  • Collaborate with RevOps / Sales Ops, and IT to ensure data quality and integration across systems (Salesforce, Marketo, Bizible, Demandbase, etc.).
  • Standardize reporting definitions, metrics, and taxonomies across the global marketing function.

Business Partnering

  • Act as trusted advisor to Marketing and Ops leaders, providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Translate complex data into simple, compelling insights for executives on how to better optimize programs.
  • Support quarterly and annual planning processes with performance data and benchmarks.
  • Support ongoing meetings with needed reporting.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6-8+ years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or analytics roles in B2B SaaS/enterprise tech.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo, Maketo Measure / Bizible, Demandbase and BI tools (e.g. Tableau).
  • Proven ability to define KPIs, build dashboards, and analyze marketing performance across channels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of demand generation, ABM, digital marketing, and enterprise sales funnels.
  • Strong communicator with ability to present data insights clearly to senior leadership.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $126,400 - $184,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, candidate's work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
