Progyny is looking for a Manager, Provider Services to lead the Clinic Authorization Specialists and Clinic & Billing Specialists, driving team performance and ensuring a world-class provider and member experience. This role blends people leadership, process management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive operational excellence and a best-in-class experience for all stakeholders. What you'll do... Lead, coach, and mentor two Provider Relations Team Supervisors and about 20-30 team members to support development and performance Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and manage training for new roles and promotions Manage team operations including timecard approvals, interviews, and performance management (e.g., coaching, PIPs, terminations) Develop and maintain SOPs, metrics, and policies to ensure consistent process execution Support resolution of member complaints and escalations, and troubleshoot system/platform issues Collaborate cross-functionally to represent the voice of providers and agents, and support change management initiatives Contribute to project management efforts and help desk support as needed About you... Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory/people management experience in a contact center Background in healthcare, health insurance, or employee benefits preferred Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Able to drive process improvement and cross-functional collaboration Empathetic communicator who values collaboration, continuous improvement and delivering exceptional service Please note: This is not a digital nomad or remote international position; candidates must be based in the United States. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required.
