Key Responsibilities: * Manage front or back office operations including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and phone communications. * Maintain and retrieve patient medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and practice standards. * Collect and record patient co-pays (cash and/or charge), ensuring accurate daily reconciliation in the system. * Obtain and input CPT and ICD-10 codes and other clinical data as required by providers. * Schedule surgical procedures and maintain the surgery calendar, ensuring coordination with physicians and surgical teams. * Complete chart requests and communicate equipment or special needs to the Materials Manager or Nurse Manager. * Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff, contributing to a positive and efficient care experience. Qualifications: * Minimum 6 months of recent experience in the healthcare industry. * Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of clinical workflows. * Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR); eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred. * Demonstrated ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Experience with patient registration, prior authorizations, insurance verification, referrals, and scheduling procedures. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
