Could you be the full-time onsite APM Area Construction Manager in we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and site management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative, solution-driven, and quality-focused teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination between Alstom's sub-systems, mechanical and civil work teams, driving progress monitoring and achieving project milestones. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Construction, Installation, Validation, Test & Acceptance (VTA), and Operations & Maintenance (O&M)), lead the implementation of the Project Installation Management Plan, and oversee site governance to ensure excellence in project execution-and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • You'll specifically take care of organizing and managing the installation work package, including aligning the Project Installation Management Plan with the project strategy, but also ensuring the coordination and surveillance of construction works, and monitoring progress against planned durations and productivities.,



  • Organizing meetings on-site with subsystems installation managers, subcontractors, and Civil Work (CW) entities to discuss interfaces, handover of areas, access, and site installations. ,



  • Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables, including documentation and plans (e.g., execution, recovery). ,



  • Consolidating data from all installation contractors to manage the work schedule effectively. ,



  • Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status and progress. ,



  • Ensuring fulfillment of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and security during work on-site. ,



  • Adhering to the Coordinated Installation Program (CIP) for E&M site installation activities and monitoring the progress to achieve project milestones.

  • Degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field, or equivalent education/experience. ,



  • Experience or understanding of managing major infrastructure projects or branch management. ,



  • Knowledge of cost and planning control in site management scope. ,



  • Familiarity with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) management practices. ,



  • Certification on Site EHS management or equivalent. ,



  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to act as an effective interface manager with customers and partners. ,



  • Experience in management by Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives. ,



  • Resilience and analytical thinking to solve complex system challenges. ,



  • Availability to work night shifts, as required. ,



  • Hands-on experience in customer relationship management for technical topics.
