Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Desktop Support Technician to join a dedicated IT field services team. This is a long-term opportunity offering stability, benefits and the chance to support multiple locations. Key Responsibilities: * Provide hands-on support for end users, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software. * Support Windows-based environments (Windows 11) and Office 365 applications. * Deploy and maintain peripheral devices such as printers, handhelds, and other hardware. * Utilize ticketing systems (preferably ServiceNow) to manage and resolve technical issues. * Perform basic network troubleshooting and diagnostics. * Deliver excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with users. * Work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Top Skills Required: * Experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows 11 and Office 365. * Proficiency in deploying and maintaining hardware/software, including peripherals. * Strong customer service and communication skills with a user-first mindset. Qualifications: * Intermediate-level experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with end users. * Junior-level candidates with solid technical knowledge and excellent communication skills will be considered. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Frankfort, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
