General summary/purpose: The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in accordance with established policies, evaluates patients in the Pediatric Emergency department as well as admitted pediatric patients in the Bloomberg Childrens Center. Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum qualifications (mandatory): Master's degree in nursing. Registered Nurse license and Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP. Preferred qualifications: 3 years direct acute care psych patient care experience. PEDs psych preferred. Licensure, Certification, Registration: Must be certified and licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in State of Maryland or other state where practicing. Current CPR certification required. Must maintain current licensure and certification during duration of employment. Completion of the JHH credentialing process is required prior to start date. Special knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
