Mercer University is a private, comprehensive, student-centered University consistently ranked among the top Universities in the South. Founded in 1833 Mercer University is located in historic Macon, Georgia. Mercer University has an undergraduate enrollment of approximately 5,000 students, a graduate/professional school enrollment of approximately 4,000. Responsibilities: The Assistant Director of Campus Life provides leadership for QuadWorks, two graduate assistants and other student activities and student organizations. QuadWorks is a comprehensive campus programming board that energizes, enlivens, and supports the development of the University community thereby enhancing student success and retention. The Assistant Director will provide guidance in the areas of program development, implementation and evaluation, publicity and promotion, team building, and budgeting for University activities while providing students with developmentally appropriate leadership opportunities. The Assistant Director will also provide support to the fraternity and sorority community at Mercer. Duties:
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration or related field from an accredited college/university and some related experience in student affairs or related field are required. One year of experience in student advising, leadership development, student activities planning, and fiscal management is preferred. Prior experience in Student Activities and fraternity and sororities in a College or University setting is also preferred. A demonstrated commitment to community development within the campus environment is essential. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's carrier.
