Get to Know Your Team:

• Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.

• Responsible for assisting in conducting medically prescribed therapy treatments to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Provides non-clinical support services to the therapist, including, but not limited to, maintaining patient treatment areas and providing basic clerical support.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Graduate of a certified physical therapy technician program or comparable experience.
• One (1) year of experience in a hospital, rehabilitation or outpatient setting as a therapy technician.
