TITLE: Sr. JavaScript Web Developer

DUTIES: Develop Infotainment applications for automotive cockpit systems in the embedded head unit. Serve as a member of a high-performing software engineering team within the Software Experience (SWX) organization to build innovative JavaScript, HTML 5 and automotive application. Drive creative thinking and iteration in the delivery of automotive applications. Participate in project development from conception to completion. Work in both native and cross-platform environments. Perform websites and backend services for automotive applications. Create user experiences for our clients and for ourselves. Apply integration experience to back-end database and transactional systems; collaborate with different functional groups such as Business Team, Systems Engineering and Software Verification and Validation to understand business requirements/use cases and offer solutions in a constrained environment. Develop web applications for Linux and Android platforms. Perform unit testing using JUnit or Google Mock framework. Develop backend services for automotive applications using Microservice Architecture. Develop front end of applications using NodeJS framework. Design user interfaces that are easy to navigate for users in different regions. Design and implement APIs. Deploy applications and microservices in the AWS cloud environment. Ensure reliability of the web services that will be accessed by millions of user simultaneously. Create and automate system testing for APIs and stress testing.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Computer Science or related 5 years of experience in job offered or related web development position. Experience must include: digital production of complex large-scale technology related projects; Using programming language - Java; building full-stack, responsive web applications; working with frameworks, including REACT to build efficient web experiences; using Rich HTML5 apps and CSS3; working with PHP scripting languages; using Javascript frameworks, including ReactJS or Node/Express.

OTHER: Job Site: 800 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. 40 hours/week. If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S.
