On-Call Building Engineer

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management service, is seeking Building Engineers. This is a position is considered on-call and with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities will include maintenance, repair and monitoring of building automation systems, HVAC and associated systems, and environmental controls. Must be able to manage money and material.

This position will require, although rare, potential holiday work.

May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and changing business practices.

Requirements

* Experience in mechanical system operations, chillers, HVAC equipment and controls, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection.
* Universal refrigeration certification
* Working Knowledge of Air Handler maintenance operations and troubleshooting techniques
* Working Knowledge of Fire Pump Operations
* Working Knowledge of Chiller Maintenance operations and troubleshooting techniques
* Minor Plumbing Experience
* Working Knowledge of building automation systems
* Minor Electrical Experience
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Ability to work alone
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent documentation skills
* Customer Service Oriented Employee
* Must provide own basic hand tools and test equipment
* Must be able to read and speak English
* Pre-employment drug screening.
* Random Drug testing
* Security environment with background investigation required, along with Child Line Clearance
* Valid driver's license
