Rutgers University-Camden seeks a Career Management Specialist. Reporting to the Assistant Director of the Camden Campus-wide Career Advancement Center, the Career Management Specialist
plays a critical role in cultivating partnerships between the university, employers, and alumni to enhance career and experiential learning opportunities for students. This position is responsible for the development, organization, and implementation of the Employer Relations Program, including expanding job and internship opportunities, coordinating campus recruiting and job fairs, and providing professional development support to students and alumni.
The
Career Management Specialist leads employer outreach initiatives to build and sustain strategic relationships across industries, manages administrative functions and special projects that support data-driven decision-making, and oversees the collection and reporting of career outcomes and employer engagement data. Additionally, the position supports internship programming by collaborating with academic departments and employers to strengthen experiential learning pathways. The Career Management Specialist also drives marketing, public relations, and alumni outreach efforts to promote career programs and success stories, enhancing the visibility and reputation of Rutgers University-Camden as a key partner in regional workforce and career development. |

Requires a bachelor's degree in social sciences, business or related degrees or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, plus an additional two years of relevant experience. |

Master's degree is preferred in the areas of development, human resources, psychology, business or related degree. Experience in a college/university career services department or human resources department is preferred. Knowledge of internet resources, Excel, Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint. Excellent information system and database management skills. Demonstrated experience in report writing and/or industry analysis.

Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
