POSITION: Technical Program Manager

We are committed to exceeding expectations and having a strong commitment to diversity.As a member of the Transformation Office, the Technical Program Manager is responsible for leading IT initiatives at the bank that require strong strategic and technical focus. This role will coordinate the technical delivery of multiple integrated initiatives to ensure the overall vision is aligned to the desired future state. The role will promote technology delivery best practices (SDLC) and adherence to the bank's digital transformation focus.

The Technical Program Manager will oversee the transformation by managing technical and business resources, providing an achievable schedule, and adhere to an Agile or Waterfall methodology while maintaining the Initiatives backlog. This oversight and governance include management of technical Initiatives issues, risks, and change requests to ensure the success of the Bank's strategic objectives. This role will contribute to process efficiency initiatives as they relate to technology delivery, automation, and digital roadmaps.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent IT delivery leader and will have experience in managing initiatives, resources of different technical/business backgrounds and capabilities in a highly matrixed environment. Theywill also be able to cultivate efficient strategies and employ diverse delivery methodologies. The goal is to ensure that all strategic programs and initiatives contribute to the Bank's transformational journey.

Key Result Areas:

* Manage one or more technical initiatives that span multiple lines of business; organize teams and deliverables that conform to the Bank's business and strategic goals

* Develop KPIs to assess program health and identify areas for improvement; ensure alignment of the cost to benefit to maximize ROI

* Own the full development and execution lifecycle; successful IT delivery includes ideation through deployment and operational readiness

* Provide initiative reporting, required artifacts and presentations regarding strategic initiative milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues to various key stakeholders, including program sponsors, transformation leadership and senior business leadership

* Participate in establishing best in class practices, templates, guidelines, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the Transformation team

* Participate and drive achievability assessment, vendor selections RFPs, and business case proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders and executive leadership

* Initiate and foster a trusted technology adviser relationship with program stakeholders, sponsors and business stakeholders

* Supervise, guide, and influence technical project managers while providing coaching and educational support to strengthen technical and business acumen

* Establish regular checkpoints with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to provide progress updates and a forum for key decisions and escalations

* Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of progressive technical experience in SDLC delivery, Agile-SCRUM/ Waterfall, or similar working with technical and business stakeholders within a dynamic and highly matrixed environment

* 5+ years of structured technology delivery experience with competence in program management tools and templates (Jira, Confluence, Teams, Sharepoint, etc.)

* 3+ years of experience in financial services / banking; heavy technology experience is preferred.

* Experience in delivering API integrations into a banking core

* Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving technology environment demonstrating the ability to work with engineering, architecture, and development partners

* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credential or equivalent Agile certification preferred

Location: Hybrid/Waltham, MA Salary Range: $158,000 - $205,000

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Cambridge Savings Bank ranges from $158,000 - $205,000. Cambridge Saving Bank will determine actual compensation for the role based on factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
