Job Details

Under the general direction of the Corporate Functions Finance Leadership team, this role is responsible for analyzing financial performance across Corporate Functions-including HR, Legal, Marketing, Strategy Enablement, and the CEO Office. The Lead Financial Analyst will support planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide financial goals. The role involves broad interaction with functional business partners and the Global Corporate Finance team, ranging from staff to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Corporate Functions leaders to provide financial insights and tools that support accurate forecasting and strategic decision-making.

  • Aggregate and analyze monthly estimate data across functions; ensure timely submission to Corporate Finance and highlight key drivers of variance.

  • Develop and maintain financial models tailored to Corporate Functions, including cost allocation, headcount planning, and initiative tracking.

  • Lead the development of annual planning templates and models specific to Corporate Functions; support functional teams through the planning cycle.

  • Present financial results and insights to senior leaders across Corporate Functions and Finance.

  • Plays a key role in the development of the annual plan including development of planning models and presentation templates; provides support of annual plan processes.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of financial reporting and planning.

  • Maintain and refine models and templates that support cross-functional analysis and enterprise-level consolidation.

  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, cost optimization efforts, and executive-level requests.

  • Act as a "super user" of financial systems and tools such as Hyperion Essbase, Financial Data Mart, and BusinessObjects, with a focus on Corporate Functions data structures.

  • Deliver high-quality service and support to internal stakeholders across Corporate Functions.

  • Limited travel may be required.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., MBA, CPA) preferred.

  • 6+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis, ideally supporting Corporate Functions or shared services.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial systems and tools.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of business metrics/drivers in a complex environment

  • Strong business and financial acumen and understanding of functional linkages

  • Ability to deliver results under pressure

  • Ability to set priorities while conducting analysis to arrive at an actionable solution

  • Ability to focus efforts at an appropriate level of detail without becoming mired

  • Team player who effectively partners across functions throughout the organization

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Applications; experience with Hyperion/SmartView/Essbase, or other business intelligence tools a plus

  • Demonstrated ability with highly complicated budgeting, forecasting and planning models

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills

  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

  • Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices

  • Enjoys challenge of balancing multiple and sometimes competing priorities and achieving deadlines
