As a Security Officer - Logistics Entry Specialist in West Jefferson, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a SCREENER in a logistics and distribution environment, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining order throughout the location. Your responsibilities include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and providing a visible presence to support a secure environment. You will also deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone you interact with. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities through thorough screening of individuals, packages, and vehicles entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining communication with Allied Universal and site personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols specific to the logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
