As a Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Patrol in Piscataway, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout the property. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, assisting tenants and visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe, report, and document any unusual activity or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points as required to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings at all times while on duty.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Assist with crowd management and/or access control as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
