This position will be based at Ashburn, VA.

Responsibilities:

*Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair desktop hardware and software problems

*Install and support Windows-based workstations

*Install and maintain network and local printers

*Provide level one diagnostic support over the phone and via remote connections

*Provide level one network troubleshooting for physical and logical connectivity issues

*Work on special projects such as moves/adds/changes, desktop builds, rollouts and upgrades

Qualifications:

*High School plus advanced training, and 2+ years of experience working with PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, digital scanners, copiers;

*A+ certification required or must obtain within 3 months;

*Effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff;

*Ability to lift 5-50 pounds on a regular basis;

*Demonstrated success with organizational skills and experience prioritizing tasks;

*Ability to work productively in teams with a positive attitude;

*Ability to diagnose and remedy system related problems;

*Proficiency with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2013 and 2016, Mac OS;

*Experience with hardware: Dell, HP/Compaq, and Mac;

*Dell Hardware and other OEM certification a plus;

*Microsoft certifications such as MCP, MTA, and or MOS and knowledge of and experience using Crystal Reports, Ticketing systems and or SharePoint are a plus;

*The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
