Job Description

Weichert Workforce Mobility is hiring a Talent Mobility Advisor in the Downers Grove, IL office. The Talent Mobility Advisor works alongside and acts as an extension of the client's mobility team. The position provides guidance to client employees considering an assignment or relocation as well as providing policy, process, and special project support to client Human Resources team members.


Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:



  • Provides guidance to client HR team members on initiation processes including required approvals, forms, required data fields and system access for submission.
  • Uses thorough understanding of client policies to provide client HR team members with answers to general policy questions and provide guidance on policy selection.
  • Provides education to client HR team members on relocation processes including required actions, timelines, team member support as well as general provider and destination information resources.
  • Manages escalations to client management as appropriate in pre-decision phase by watching for red flags generated by transferee or HR initiator such as unique family situations, potential immigration issues, travel issues, etc., and ascertains if/when pre-decision counseling may be needed.
  • Reviews compensation schedules, COLA and Lump Sum Calculations.
  • Prepares basic cost estimates and answers questions relating to calculations.
  • Supports client repayment process including calculation of rates, tracking, and liaison with client accounts receivable.
  • Answers general questions from client on invoicing and payment queries.
  • Manages client exception process including consulting from global perspective, information gathering and management of approval process.
  • Prepares and presents quarterly and ad hoc client activity reporting.
  • Works with client to prepare employment verification letters as required.
  • Participates in client process improvement meetings.
  • Acts as a liaison between internal Weichert teams to provide seamless client engagement support.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in relocation counseling or assignment management
  • Direct client interaction and advisory experience required
  • Must have strong Excel and reporting experience
  • Experience with Real Estate laws and practices, financing, and disclosure preferred
  • Strong knowledge and command of global mobility management, customer service delivery, business processes and operations management
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate business process in order to identify and implement solutions
  • Knowledge of international assignment compensation concepts
  • Demonstrated strength in problem solving
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge and ability to use typical office equipment (PC, calculator, fax machine, etc.)


The estimated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $110,000 (annually). The rate of pay offered is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant skills, education, work experience, job location/geographic region, and/or certifications.
