GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Are you passionate about using your Epic expertise to make a real impact in healthcare? DaVita's DPS CKD EHR team is on a mission to revolutionize kidney care through digital transformation. We're looking for a motivated and self-disciplined Epic Ambulatory Analyst II to join our team and help us deliver a leading-edge EHR platform to nephrology practices. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and supporting solutions that enhance physician efficiency, empower medical staff, and ultimately improve patient outcomes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Innovation and Strategic Improvement

  • Drive the evolution of our Epic platform by researching, designing, and building enhancements that support strategic initiatives like Value-Based Care and new regulatory programs.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of system upgrades and special projects, from needs assessment and build to testing and change management.
  • Stay at the forefront of EHR technology trends to identify and champion high-value functionality that improves the physician and patient experience in nephrology.

Implementation and Onboarding

  • Partner with nephrology practices to implement Epic through new community connect partner practices, guiding them through every phase from requirements gathering and workflow analysis to testing and go-live.
  • Act as a subject matter expert during implementations, supporting users and training teams by resolving build issues and clarifying workflow designs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to define, build, and test integrated workflows that enhance interoperability.

System Integrity and Support

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Epic-related incidents and requests, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure uninterrupted clinical and business operations.
  • Proactively manage and resolve issues within system work queues and error logs, ensuring data integrity and optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate directly with clinical and administrative end-users to troubleshoot issues, gather information, and provide clear, documented resolutions.

Team Development and Mentorship

  • Contribute to our team's growth by mentoring and training other Epic teammates, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and broader organizational goals.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of build experience as an Epic Build Analyst.
  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or technology field
  • Active EpicCare Ambulatory certification.
  • At least one additional active Epic certification in Reporting Workbench or Slicer Dicer.
  • Proven problem solving abilities
  • This is a remote-first role, but requires the ability to travel up to 25% for customer visits, team meetings, conferences, and training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Epic Community Connect, Nephrology/kidney care workflows, and project scoping.
  • Proficiency with tools like Nova, Sherlock, Asana, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Project Management certification (PMP or CAPM).

The Salary Range for the role is $82,800.00 - $121,600.00/year. If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position. New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour, Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
