Front Desk Security Officer

As a Front Desk Security Officer - Commercial Building, you will serve and safeguard clients in a commercial building in the Kendall area. They provide access control and patrols while remaining visible and display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Pay Rate: 16/Hr.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am -3pm

Location: Coconut Grove, FL

Front desk position greeting visitors and showing vendors where to go.

Report writing (Heliaus) required.

*Must have (No Exceptions):

• Valid Florida Security License D License
• Valid Driver's License
• 1+ Years Security Experience
• Customer Service, CCTV, Roving Patrol, and Fire Alarm knowledge

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Required, ability to use a computer or tablet.
• Required, comfortable working outdoors in all elements of the weather for the entire shift.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by conducting safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and, if appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
