As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver Government in Laurinburg, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment for all. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment to assess and manage each situation.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order within the location.
• Collaborate with location staff and/or visitors to provide assistance and information as needed, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Complete required incident reports and other written documentation accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current on security-related protocols, emergency response techniques, and other job-related requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
