- Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
Responsibilities
The Materials Tech position will perform a variety of routine tasks and functions to receive, ship, and distribute supplies to hospital departments, providing timely and accurate availability of required materials through the adherence of policies, procedures and regulations ensuring compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Data entry experience.
- Valid Driver's license.
- One (1) year of related warehouse, inventory or customer service experience.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel).
- Forklift certification.
- Experience with use of heavy equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack, dock equipment, etc.
- Ability to drive department owned vehicles, including but not limited to a box truck.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Ability to act independently.
- Demonstrates initiative, dependability, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to review information and take action.
