As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Tech Campus in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with employees and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license, as you will need to navigate different parts of the property. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using good judgment and clear communication.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the tech and media facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with on-site staff and Allied Universal team members to address site-specific needs in a professional manner.
• Maintain detailed logs and write clear incident reports to document observations and actions taken during the shift.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment, adapting patrol patterns as needed to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
